How to make a 3D logo

The mesh, bevel, and lighting stay on the canvas. Nothing goes to a render farm.

Chrome 3D mark in the live viewport
  1. Drop a file or type a name

PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, or SVG up to 10MB. Text traces into the same extrusion path.

  2. Bevel, light, and materials stay live

Spin the camera, change depth, and swap chrome for glass without leaving the viewport.

  3. PNG, GLB, OBJ, STL, and MP4

Transparent stills, 3D files, and a 480p MP4 loop on Free, each with a small 3dlogo.io mark. Pro removes the mark and adds 4K stills and 720p or 1080p MP4. Commercial use included.

Generate turns a photo or a prompt into a mesh

Generate runs on credits, from a plan or a one-time pack. Photo or prompt in, GLB out. The logo editor still extrudes your file. Generate is a separate mesh studio.

From a prompt

Describe an object in a short prompt. Fast returns a textured draft in seconds. Standard and up add full-detail meshes and PBR materials. Failed jobs return the credits.

3D converter

Convert GLB, OBJ, STL, and PLY locally. Open FBX. Preview, then download. STL drops color because the format has none.

3D logo styles, and when to use each

The finish does more work than the shape. Every style below is a one-click preset, so you can try all six on your own mark. Each name opens the guide for that style; the 3D logo styles guide compares all six on the same dimensions.

Chrome and liquid metal

Mirror-hard highlights that read at icon size; the default for apps and launch heroes.

Gold and warm metal

Heavier and warmer than chrome; seals, labels, packaging, and print.

Crystal glass

Refraction instead of reflection; sits over photography and busy interfaces.

Holographic and iridescent

Colour that shifts with the viewing angle; best on a bevel or in motion.

Brushed and machined metal

A directional highlight plus plate and corrugated surfaces; hardware and industrial brands.

Cosmic gradient

Two- and three-stop colour ramps over a metal base; when the palette matters more than the material.

All six extrude the file or the text you bring. If you would rather start from a photograph or a written description, Generate is a separate 3D logo generator that returns a downloadable GLB you can drop into the same scene. Open the editor to compare finishes on your own mark, or read what a 3D logo is and which style to use.

3D logo maker FAQ

Free editor, exports, commercial use, and Generate credits.

What is a 3D logo?

A 3D logo adds depth, lighting, and materials to a brand mark so it holds up on websites, YouTube banners, social posts, and packaging. This 3D logo maker turns text or an existing file into one in minutes; the 3D logo guide explains the six styles and which to use.

How do I make one?
  1. Open the editor in your browser.
  2. Type a name or upload an SVG or PNG.
  3. Pick chrome, gold, glass, or another material.
  4. Adjust depth, bevel, lighting, and animation.
  5. Export PNG, GLB, OBJ, STL, or a 480p MP4 with a small 3dlogo.io mark. Pro removes the mark and adds 4K stills and HD MP4.
Is it free?
The editor, materials, live preview, 1024px PNG, 3D model exports, and a 480p MP4 are free; free exports carry a small 3dlogo.io watermark. Generate runs on credits, from a plan or a one-time pack. Ads may appear on Free. Pro removes the watermark and unlocks Standard, High, and Ultra density, 4K stills, 720p and 1080p MP4, ads removed, and extra saved projects.
What can I export?
Free: PNG or JPEG up to 1024px, GLB, GLTF, OBJ, and STL, plus a 480p MP4 loop. Every free export carries a small 3dlogo.io watermark: in the corner of stills and clips, and as a small tag on 3D files. Pro removes it from every export and adds 2K and 4K stills and 720p or 1080p MP4 loops.
Can I use the logos commercially?
Yes. Logos you create include commercial usage rights for your business, clients, or other commercial work.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the editor immediately. Create an account later if you want saved projects, sharing, or Generate.
What is Generate?

Generate is a standalone 3D studio. It turns a photo or a prompt into a downloadable GLB. It is separate from logo extrusion in the editor. Generate runs on credits, from a plan or a one-time pack. Monthly Pro adds 1,200 credits on each renew. Yearly Pro adds 9,600 credits once for the year. Unused credits expire with the billing period. Failed jobs return the credits.

Can I convert or view a 3D file here?

Yes. The 3D converter and GLB viewer run in the browser. GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, and PLY stay on the device. No account. FBX can be opened. Generate still makes the mesh; these pages inspect and recode it.

How do Generate credits work?
Each generate spends credits shown on the Generate button. Fast costs the least and returns a textured draft. Standard, High, and Ultra cost more and add full-detail meshes, PBR materials, and extra views. Monthly Pro adds 1,200 credits on each renew. Yearly Pro adds 9,600 credits once for the year. Unused credits expire at the end of that monthly or yearly billing period. A paid renew adds a new cycle. Failed jobs return the credits.
Does Pro remove ads?
Yes. Free pages may load Google ads. Pro accounts do not request ads. The editor never shows ads on either plan.
Which browsers work?
Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Use a current version for the best WebGL performance.
Can I re-edit after export?
Exported files cannot be re-imported. Recreate the design in the editor as often as you want. Signed-in saves keep the full workspace so you can reopen and tweak.
Do I need design skills?
No. Type or upload, choose a material, and export. You do not need Blender.
