Vermont 2600 - Monthly Hacker Meetup, Williston VT

[2026-03-20] mynoc@vt2600:~$ init Vermont 2600 First Friday of every month. 6 PM. Old Town Cafe & Comics 31 Cottonwood Drive, Suite 106 Williston, VT 05495 Show up, grab coffee, talk about whatever. Hacking, hardware, radio, locks, firmware, networks, whatever you are into. Nobody cares what your skill level is. We have people who barely know how to open a terminal and people reversing binaries. Both are welcome. No RSVP. No signup. Just be there. RULES: 1. Buying something at the cafe is appreciated but not required. They are letting us use the space. 2. Nothing illegal on premises. Talk about whatever you want but do not do anything stupid at the meeting. 3. Don't be a jerk. If someone asks a basic question, answer it or exercise your right to remain silent. "RTFM" is not an answer. 4. First Friday. 6 PM. We meet whenever the cafe is open. If they close for a holiday, them's the breaks.
[2026-04-03] mynoc@vt2600:~$ cat 2026-04.log Android and mobile exploitation. App teardown, ADB poking, intercepting traffic on a device you own, and the usual rabbit holes in the mobile attack surface. Open floor, bring whatever you are working on. All skill levels.
[2026-05-01] mynoc@vt2600:~$ cat 2026-05.log UEFI and BIOS. Firmware enumeration and where the attack surface lives before the OS even loads. DXE, SMM, the parts most people never look at. Bring your own firmware.
[2026-06-05] mynoc@vt2600:~$ cat 2026-06.log Network enumeration. Going from zero to a full map of a target. Passive recon, nmap timing and NSE scripts, service fingerprinting, and where enumeration quietly turns into a foothold. Open floor as always.
[2026-07-03] mynoc@vt2600:~$ cat 2026-07.log Open floor, no set topic. Bring whatever you are chasing. Exploitation, hardware, radio, lockpicking, anything goes. All skill levels.
